Honda's Plans For Entering The EV Segment
Honda plans to work with General Motors in North America to produce two generations of electric vehicles to suit a wide range of customer preferences. By 2024, it's confirmed that Honda will bring the 2024 Prologue to the North American market as a fully electric SUV, which will be based on the Ultium architecture. However, by 2027, Honda wants to create low-cost yet high-volume electric vehicles that will utilize the next-generation Ultium battery cells while also exploring the possibility of using solid-state battery cells in other markets.
