The 2023 Honda Odyssey's exterior is not vastly different from the outgoing line-ups. But you get a few more standard features now that the base LX trim level is gone. The now-base EX trim level comes with LED headlights and alloy wheels. The EX-L trim adds a sound-reducing windshield, power lift gate, and sunroof.
The new Sport trim debuts with a matching black grille and window trim. It also has unique 19-inch wheels. The line-topping Elite also offers notable upgrades: automatic windshield wipers, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, and sound-reducing side and rear window glass.

Inside the Odyssey, quite a few changes make the minivan look more contemporary. Both front seats are power-adjustable, and a rear-seat reminder system reminds you to check the back seat for occupants when you park. A tri-zone automatic climate control system keeps each row set to the desired temperature for added comfort and convenience.
Each trim level has a removable middle seat in the second row, which means you can configure the van for seating seven or eight people. Opting up to the EX-L trim swaps in leather upholstery and driver's seat memories, plus red stitching in the black upholstery is included on the Sport trim. The Touring adds a charging port to the third row, and an integrated navigation system is also equipped. Cabin Watch (Honda's rear-cabin camera monitoring system) shows a view of the rear seats on the touchscreen - a helpful feature for parents. The line-topping Elite adds a wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, an intercom system, and a heated steering wheel for a touch of luxury.

The 2023 Odyssey is powered by a standard 3.5-litre V6 that generates a power output of 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This power gets directed to the front wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine offers ample capability for accelerating onto the highway with ease. The 10-speed automatic provides seamless transitions between gears; you can even shift them yourself using the steering wheel-mounted shifting paddles.
